What women notice in men

Being eye-catching is a great feeling, isn’t it? Even if you’re not fishing, it doesn’t hurt to have a pretty woman look at you. While we have internal locus’ of identity, when times are rough, the ego boost definitely helps.

If you are indeed looking for more than just a couple of glances, this is your read. Different women are attracted to different qualities. You want to attract women that vibe with you, and not with the faux-personality you might be able to create for a brief moment.

At your core, you have to know who you are. It comes easier for some people, and for others like me, it takes years of imitating and trying on different personalities to see what fits best. But once you got it, you got it for life.

There are some basic things that need to be in place, not just for girls’ sake, but for humanity’s sake. It is true that girls notice a little more and are more intolerant to certain things than the other genders, so just go through the list once to make sure you have them all covered.

Comfort in your own skin:

Your energy introduces you long before you introduce yourself. The first thing anyone can see is how comfortable you are in your skin. Let your shoulders loose, leave your insecurities in your Uber, look around the room and breathe in.

Shahrukh Khan is still Shahrukh Khan- the hearthrob, even with the most nondescript stringed PJs, isn’t he?

You’re the most attractive when you’re yourself. Just let everyone see it.

What you’re wearing:

Clothes aren’t supposed to draw attention to them. They are just a reflection of who you are.

All we’re asking for is clean clothes and clean shoes. Buy and wear clothes that you are most comfortable in- a plain white tee, red pants or tattoo sleeves, just as long as you’re being your most authentic and most amazing self.

How you interact with those around you:

If you aren’t humbling down the older you get, consider that you might be growing up wrong. Are you polite and courteous to those who open doors for you and to those who are taking your food orders? This is generally a very telling sign and messing this up is a huge turn off, even if you’re just auditioning for a short-term role.

Your grooming:

Sometimes, all you need as a statement piece for an outfit is your hair and beard. Even the messy, I-woke-up-like-this, and the effortless looks are seldom effortless.

Basic Hygiene:

This is not one of the things explicitly noticed, but it’s out there for everyone to see. And it is a make or break deal. How you smell, how clean your teeth and ears are and the like. No extra points for doing it right, but it’s almost unaffordable to get it wrong.

In the end, it’s all about the fit. A Na’Vi (from Avatar) wouldn’t date a chihuahua, and we don’t want to mess with that. Be unapologetically you, and you’ll attract your tribe.
